Thank you to everyone who had a part in Sacajawea's Family Science Night. What a great night of inquiry. Families had a great time with fun experiments and surprising demonstrations. It was great to see the displays in the gym of all the great science activities going on in the classrooms.
Thanks to the teachers for many hours of preparation. Thanks to Mrs. Cataline and Mrs. Friddle for organizing this event and to Mrs. Friddle and Mrs. Braun for writing the grant application to fund this event. Thanks to the volunteers from Micron and from CWI for coming in to do demonstrations and for the seniors from CHS who helped out in many areas around the school.
Family turnout was phenomenal (428 people of all ages). Our families and the Sac staff rock! I love to see our families learning together. You all make me smile. Here are a few pics we have collected.
