Career Aspirations Program- Building Tomorrow's Leaders

Career Aspirations Program
The initial meeting of CAP was held yesterday.  104 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students stayed after school to discuss their future goals, learn about different careers and opportunities, as well as develop their team building and leadership skills.

Students wrote personal short-term and long-term goals for their lives and brainstormed a list of various careers opportunities they could pursue.

During a team building activity, small groups of students worked together to build the tallest structure out of mini-marshmallows and toothpicks.  The activity worked on communication, and decision making skills.

Sacajawea Choir Performed With Other Caldwell Groups

The 2013 Sacajawea Choir performed with a couple vocal groups from Caldwell High School as well as with the choir from Lincoln Elementary.  The harmony moved some to tears.  In this picture the choir took advantage of a relaxed photo opportunity after one of their Saturday rehearsals with the other Caldwell choirs. They prepared for hours before their Concert on Saturday, April 20, 2013.
