Sacajawea Families -

We can’t wait to celebrate our school community with our annual Trunk or Treat event! 

Here is some additional information: 

• Trunks with goodies
• STEM Activities
• Flu Shots
• Free Books (this is not part of the book fair)
• And a Fun Run!

This will take place on October 29th, from 10:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m in our backfield.

The Spooky Skyhawk Fun Run will begin at 11:00 a.m starting with our Pre-K and Kinder kids in the first group.

Here are the start times for the fun run: 

• Pre-K - Kinder: 11:00 a.m 
• 1st - 2nd: 11:15 a.m 
• 3rd - 4th: 11:30 a.m 
• 5th and Middle: 11:45 a.m

Familias de Sacajawea, esperamos poder celebrar con todos ustedes durante nuestro evento Trunk or Treat! 

Estos son algunos detalles adicionales:

• Tendremos carros con golosinas
• Actividades de STEM (Ciencias, Tecnología, Ingeniería, Matemáticas) 
• Vacunas contra la gripe
• Libros gratis (no es parte de la feria de libros)
• Una carrera divertida. 

Esto tendrá lugar el 29 de octubre de 10:00 am a 12:00 pm en nuestro campo detrás de la escuela. 

El Fun Run (carreras) Spooky Skyhawk comenzará a las 11:00 am comenzando con nuestros niños de Pre-K y Kinder en el primer grupo.

Thanks Mayor Nancolas - The Mayor's Walking Challenge

Mayor Nancolas dropped in to Mrs. Prall's 4th grade PE class this morning to deliver a check to Mr. De La Cruz and all of our Skyhawks.  I think Mayor Nancolas outwalked all of us this October, but he and the city are still generously supporting the physical fitness needs of Sacajawea and the Caldwell kids.  We plan to invest the $333 in equipment to help all of our kids be more active.  

Fitness matters.  Keep moving, Skyhawks!

Caldwell Community Food Distribution // Distribución de alimentos para la comunidad

On October 31st, 2020 the Caldwell community is invited to participate in the Caldwell Community Food Distribution, in partnership with the Idaho Food Bank and Team Rubicon. There is no qualification to receive food. Only household size and city/zip code information will be collected for data purposes. 

This will be a drive thru distribution. Please stay in your vehicle. 

When: Saturday, Oct. 31st, 2020

Where: O’Conner Field House-

             S. 22nd Ave, Caldwell, Idaho

Time: 11:00 a.m until food runs out. 

Each household will receive two boxes of food (until food runs out)

These food boxes contain a variety of dairy, pre-cooked meat and produce items. 

All boxes are the same.

Thank you to the Caldwell Public Library and to Book It Forward.  We were able to give away two books for every kid yesterday.  We will do the same today.

Join the Spring Reading Challenge from Caldwell Public Library - LINK

Do This:

• Read 20 minutes a day, 4 days a week, for 4 weeks
• Report your reading in either on a paper log (available at SAC on Monday 4/20 and Tuesday 4/21 during learning material distribution), or record it online via READsquared [LINK].
• Return the log to the school or mark the program complete in READsquared and you’ll be entered for a chance to win a set of MagnaTiles.

When: Between April 15th and May 29th

Who: Anyone between 0 and 18 years old.

Special For SAC: Come to the learning materials distribution on Monday or Tuesday and we’ll give you two free books along with your reading log.  Thanks to CPL and BookItForward for the donation of books to our Sacajawea Families.
