Yoga For Kids Starts Next Thursday - 9/6

Yoga for Kids will be held on Mondays and Thursdays when school is in session.
First session will be Thursday, September 6 at 8:30am in the Sacajawea Elementary School Gym.
Eat breakfast and then join us.
We'll be done in time for students to get to class.

Yoga for Kids is like yoga for adults but sillier! It’s noisy, fun, and a great way to engage kids in physical activity, all while being noncompetitive and inexpensive!
Yoga for kids brings together movement, sound, and poses and can be imaginative and self-interpreted. The poses don’t have to be performed perfectly.
Most importantly, have fun!

Benefits of Yoga:

  • Improve balance and flexibility
  • Increase strength
  • Reduce stress
  • Improve lung function
  • Improve body image and self-esteem
  • Improve sleep, appetite, and general well-being
  • Helps improve attention and listening skills
  • Encourages imagination and creativity

This activity is brought to us through our community school partnership with University of Idaho Canyon County Extension.
