Third graders have been busy learning about equivalent fractions, comparing fractions, and where fractions go on a number line. It is been a long math unit with some difficult concepts but the students have shown great perseverance in their learning. To make the learning process a little more fun and understandable the teachers have had to get pretty creative. Students have created their own paper fractions strips, played fraction golf, built equivalent fraction towers, and even created a "human" fractions number line.
