Thanks to Deer Flat Youth - Spring Break Project at Sacajawea

Thanks to the Deer Flat Youth group.  This Wednesday about 15 teens and young adults spent part of their spring break helping Sacajawea with projects around the school.  We got a lot of work done in one day.

  • Painted a new #SkyhawkLeaders wall for positive office referrals (more info to come soon)
  • Wiped down all student desks with Clorox wipes (here's to fewer germs spreading after spring break)
  • Wiped down gym walls (years of hands and feet add up)
  • Dusted all classroom blinds
  • Cleaned all outside entrance windows (including the high ones)
  • Distributed 60 cubic yards of playground bark for padding around exercise equipment and rock wall
  • Painted a new soccer field on K-1 playground and repainted football fields on 2nd-5th playgrounds
  • Pressure washed dirt, cobwebs and grime from front and side entrances
Thanks to a great group of youth.  You worked with joy.  We really appreciate it.

  1. I noticed people let their dogs poop in the wood chips in the play ground or maybe it is the cats front near by houses but. Absolutely disgusting. I'm excited to see the school revamped for the spring!
