Friday, February 3rd is "National Wear Red Day". This is a day to raise awareness about strokes in women and to promote being heart healthy. Students may wear red pants, shirts, or dresses on Friday.
Did you know that 1 in 3 women are living with a cardiovascular disease including heart disease and stroke? The good news is that 80% of cardiovascular disease may be preventable with education and action. That's why it is important to learn your family history, eat better, and be active.
