 Sacajawea Families! Spring Break is upon us and STEM night Follows right after we come back from the break. Here is what you need to know!

It’s time for Sacajawea’s Family STEM Night on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.

This year’s theme is curiosity. Please join us for an open house-style evening full of fun STEM activities (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).

Activities run from 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

Pizza will be served from 6:30 p.m. until 7:45 p.m. in the Cafeteria.

We hope to see you!

¡Familias de Sacajawea! Las vacaciones de primavera están sobre nosotros y la noche STEM sigue justo después de que regresemos de las vacaciones. ¡Aquí está lo que necesitas saber!

Es hora de la Noche STEM familiar de Sacajawea el miércoles 5 de abril 2023.

El tema este año es la curiosidad. Únase a nosotros para una noche de puertas abiertas llena de divertidas actividades STEM (Ciencia, Tecnología, Ingeniería, Matemáticas).

Las actividades empiezan de las 6:00 p.m. a 7:30 p.m..

La pizza se servirá a partir de las 6:30 p.m. hasta las 7:45 p.m en la cafetería.

Sacajawea Families -

If your child has reported community service hours to their teacher they will get tickets tomorrow. Bring those tickets to the main entrance at the C of I Gym. If there are additional family members who need to buy tickets, they may buy them at that entrance.

If you can’t find your log, just use a piece of paper or you can message your child’s teacher.

Sacajawea kids and families will sit in the upstairs bleachers. Kids will get their t-shirts in the bleachers.

Game Times for Friday, February 10th

• 5:30PM - Women’s Game Starts
• 7:20PM - Yotes Cheer Squad will bring students down to the floor for recognition before the men's game starts. **Make sure you arrive in time to do this.
• 7:30PM - Men’s Game Starts (It will probably finish at about 9:15PM).

Familias de Sacajawea- 

Si su hijo ha informado las horas de servicio comunitario a su maestro, recibirá boletos mañana. Lleve esos boletos a la entrada principal del gimnasio C of I. Si hay miembros adicionales de la familia que necesitan comprar boletos, pueden comprarlos en esa entrada.

Caldwell Fine Arts' Children's Theater Coming Up

If your kid loves to perform, here is a great chance for them to get on stage through the great Caldwell Fine Arts program.

Time flies. Time stands still. But what about when time…slips? Join local children in this charming production of Lucy’s Garden, where friendship, fun, and magic come together.

5:45 pm Grades 4 – 12

All children receive a part!

Pre-registration is required

$25 audition/participation fee

*Scholarships are available for those with financial need by entering “scholarship” for the coupon code. Fee will be $5.

Recap Family Reading Night 2022 // Resumen noche de lectura familiar 2022

 

Sacajawea families had a fun and cozy Reading Night in Pajamas! 

Families enjoyed participating in some activities in the classroom and the teacher read aloud. Parents/Guardians and students did some activities like high-frequency word coloring, a re-tell story game, phonemic awareness activity, students reading to their parents, and much more fun activities!

CapEd and their ambassador, Ed Word the bookworm, joined our Reading night with some stories to read to our Kindergarten and 1st graders.  

Thank you to The Caldwell Public Library for the free books students can enjoy at home for some reading time. 

The night ended with families enjoying some hot chocolate and Christmas cookies!

Thank you to our families, CapEd, Caldwell Public Library, Teachers, staff, and our High School volunteers, for making this night run smoothly. 

Thank you all who joined this night, and turned it into a great outcome!

¡Las familias de Sacajawea tuvieron una divertida y comoda Noche de Lectura en Pijamas!

Las familias disfrutaron participando en algunas actividades en el salón de clases y el maestro leyó en voz alta. ¡Los padres/tutores y los estudiantes realizaron algunas actividades como colorear palabras de alta frecuencia, un juego de volver a contar una historia, una actividad de conciencia fonémica, los estudiantes leyeron a sus padres y muchas más actividades divertidas!

CapEd y su embajador, Ed Word, el gusano de biblioteca, se unieron a nuestra noche de lectura con algunas historias para leer a nuestros alumnos de Kinder y primer grado.

Gracias a la Biblioteca Pública de Caldwell por los libros gratuitos que los estudiantes pueden disfrutar en casa durante un tiempo de leer.

¡La noche terminó con las familias disfrutando de chocolate caliente y galletas navideñas!

Gracias a nuestras familias, CapEd, la biblioteca pública de Caldwell, los maestros, el personal y los voluntarios de nuestra escuela secundaria por hacer que esta noche transcurriera sin problemas.

We are having Family Reading Night this upcoming Thursday, December 15, 2022.

Bring your family and join us for reading aloud, reading activities, and decorated doors throughout the school. 

Each grade level will host two sessions: 6:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m

Don't forget to wear your PAJAMAS!

Hot chocolate and cookies will be served in the cafeteria until 7:30 p.m

When: Thursday, December 15, 2022

Time: 6:00 P.M - 7:30 P.M

This will take place on October 29th, from 10:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m in our backfield.

The Spooky Skyhawk Fun Run will begin at 11:00 a.m starting with our Pre-K and Kinder kids in the first group.

Here are the start times for the fun run: 

• Pre-K - Kinder: 11:00 a.m 
• 1st - 2nd: 11:15 a.m 
• 3rd - 4th: 11:30 a.m 
• 5th and Middle: 11:45 a.m

Familias de Sacajawea, esperamos poder celebrar con todos ustedes durante nuestro evento Trunk or Treat! 

Estos son algunos detalles adicionales:
