Junior Yotes Basketball Camp for K-8 Boys and Girls - December 27 and 28

Skyhawk Families -

If your kid loves basketball (or just loves to be active) this camp is a good local opportunity during the last week of Christmas vacation.

Here is more info and the registration form.  If you would like to send your child to this camp, but really can't afford the registration fee, please contact Mr. Webster or Mrs. Bunn at Sacajawea (pwebster@caldwellschools.org or bbunn@caldwellschools.org).

• Who: K-8 Boys and Girls (Must pre-register)
• What: Basketball camp, run by the College of Idaho basketball program.
• Where: College of Idaho Gym
• When: Monday and Tuesday December 27th-28th 1:00-4:00pm (Check-in Dec. 27th 12:15pm)
• Why: Because basketball is really fun. This is a great opportunity to experience the game and to improve fundamental skills.

Hello SAC families,

We have our 2nd and 3rd grade music program coming up for students to showcase their hard work in music class this year!

Date: Monday, December 6th 2021 

Time: 7:00 P.M. 

Student call time 6:30 P.M.

Where: Caldwell High School auditorium

Who: 2nd and 3rd grade students and families

At Caldwell High School, masks are recommended for the performance and we ask that you please sit in groups with your families. Physical distancing is recommended with groups around you. 

Attire for students will be “nicer than the audience”. Every student is expected to participate in the performance, as performing is a very important part of music education. If there is a conflict that prohibits your student from performing at the program, please contact Ms. Gibson by email or phone. Please contact Ms. Gibson with any other questions you may have.

Toys for Tots 2021

 

Sacajawea Families, 

Toys for Tots is starting to collect applications for their 2021 Campaign. 

To obtain an application please stop by the school to pick one up or contact us to have one sent home with your student.

You can pick up an application from 8:30 a.m to 4:00 p.m during any school day, before November 17th.  

Applications are due by November 18, 2020.

Please return completed forms to the Caldwell School District office or to the office at Sacajawea and we will get the form over to the district office.

• Children eligible must be 12 and under that require assistance.
• Toy Pick up dates: 
• Thursday, December 16 2021from 12:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m
• Friday, December 17, 2021 from 12:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m

Toys for Tots está comenzando a aceptar aplicaciones para su campaña del 2021. 

Para obtener una aplicación, por favor pase por la escuela para recoger una o contáctenos para que le enviemos una a casa con su estudiante. 

Uno puede recoger una aplicación desde las 8:30 a.m a las 4:00 p.m cual quiere dias escolar antes del 17 de noviembre. 

Las solicitudes deben de ser entregadas antes del 18 de noviembre de 2020. 

Por favor devuelva las aplicaciones completadas a la oficina del Distrito Escolar de Caldwell o a la oficina en Sacajawea y le enviaremos el formulario a la oficina del distrito.

• Los niños elegibles deben tener 12 años o menos que requieran asistencia.

Canyon Hill Community Garden Work Day- This Saturday // Día de trabajo en el jardín comunitario de Canyon Hill- este sabado

 

Sacajawea families, want to give us a hand and clean up our community garden? Join us this Saturday, November 6th from 10:00a.m to 12:00p.m at 903 N Michigan Ave, Caldwell. 

Our community garden has been providing fresh produce to Sac families and the Canyon Hill community for more than 4 years now. One of our biggest goals this year is to get more families involved. We would love your help in any way. 

There are several ways you can help us. 

• Weekly cleaning of the garden. 
• Checking in on the watering schedule.
• Helping during the main work days.
• Harvesting the produce. 
• Distributing the produce to homes and around our Sac community. 
• Attending our meetings

Familias de Sacajawea, ¿quieren ayudarnos y limpiar nuestro jardín comunitario? Acompáñenos a nosotros este sábado 6 de noviembre de 10:00 a.m a 12:00 p.m en 903 N Michigan Ave, Caldwell. 

Nuestro jardín comunitario ha estado proporcionando productos frescos a las familias de Sac y la comunidad de Canyon Hill durante más de 4 años. Uno de nuestros mayores objetivos este año es involucrar a más familias. Nos encantaría su ayuda de cualquier manera. 

Hay varias formas en las que puede ayudarnos. 

• Limpieza semanal del jardín. 
• Ayudar a regar.
• Ayudando durante los días principales de trabajo.
• Cosecha del producto. 
• Distribuir los productos a los hogares y alrededor de nuestra comunidad de Sac. 
• Asistir a nuestras reuniones

Sacajawea Trunk or Treat 2021- Thank you! ¡Gracias!

 

Sacajawea Families, thank you for making our 4th Trunk or Treat a huge success. We really missed having you all on our campus and seeing so many happy faces really made our day! 

We enjoyed watching our students and families Trunk or Treating, participate in our Fun Run, get creative with our STEM activities and for some lucky few, get a flu shot! We were lucky enough to even have our book fair open to our families! Families also had the opportunity to pick up a food box on their way. 

We know that none of this would have been possible without the support of so many great individuals, and organizations supporting our community school work!

Familias de Sacajawea, gracias por hacer de nuestro 4to Trunk or Treat un gran éxito. ¡Realmente extrañamos tenerlos a todos en nuestro campus y ver tantas caras felices realmente nos alegró el día!
