On Tuesday, July 9th, children and their families got to enjoy fun activities at Book and a Bite in Luby Park, Caldwell. The theme of the day was Rocks and the Moon. The families made rockets, looked at rocks under the microscope, weighed and tested pretend asteroids, analyzed soil, learned how to floss teeth, and listened to several books. The children also got a sack lunch. Thank you to Idaho Museum of Mining & Geology, Delta Dental, Idaho Public Television, 4-H, Oasis Food Center, and many volunteers for participating in this event.
