Sacajawea Wins Tech and Writing Grant
Mr. Cornwall and Mr. Miller were awarded a $5000 tech grant from CenturyLInk. They plan to complete the purchase of a mobile lab for our 3rd through 5th grades. They hope to build a real audience for student writing through Quadblogging (quadblogging.net).
Congratulations!
We had a surprise visit from Jim Schmit (Center), Idaho Vice-President of CenturyLink, and Melissa McGrath (Left) from the Idaho state Department of Education.
Thanks for putting in the extra hours of grant-writing, Mr. Cornwall and Mr. Miller. We look forward to passionate and prolific student writing next year.

Mariachi Sol De Acapulco Performs At Sacajawea
Thanks to the Sacajawea PTO and with the support of Caldwell Fine Arts, the Sacajawea students and staff enjoyed an excellent Cinco de Mayo performance by Mariachi Sol de Acapulco on Friday. Two of the performers, Leo and Daniela, are Sacajawea alumni. Arts bring color and passion to our lives.
