The STEM Enrichment 3rd - 5th grade classes sent army men flying this week. Students used the engineering design process to create a design that would go the farthest. They first imagined the design to begin with, then built it. They tested the design and then made improvements and tested again. They did this until it was time to launch with the group or they were happy with their design. After the group launch they then explained what problems they still had and what tweaks could still be made. They were challenged to continue with design improvement and return next time to demonstrate.
