Family STEM Night - Thursday 11/10 6:00 to 7:30 - Save The Date

Family STEM Night will be on Thursday 11/10 at Sacajawea.

Come and have fun with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).  See the inquiry projects presented by each class. The students will be proud of their work.

Centers Include: 

  • Water Bottle Rockets
  • Build Harmonicas
  • Oobleck
  • Geodes
  • Float Your Boat 
  • Build Star Finders
  • ....And More


  • After participating in one or more centers you may enjoy chili dogs for dinner in the cafeteria.

    We are looking forward to inquiry, exploration and discovery for all ages.

    Family STEM night will run from 6:00 to 7:30 PM on Thursday 11/10 all over the Sacajawea building.

    Noche de S.T.E.M. Familiar será el jueves 10 de noviembre en Sacajawea. Reserva la fecha.

    Venga a divertirse con S.T.E.M. (ciencia, tecnología, ingeniería, y matemáticas). Miren los proyectos de cada clase. Los estudiantes están orgullosos de su trabajo.

    4th Grade Trip to Celebration Park


    4th graders enjoyed their field trip to Celebration Park! A big thank you to the parents who chaperoned and made it possible! Pictures of wikiup, Guffy Bridge, and throwing the atlatl.

    Third Graders Visit the Botanical Gardens


    Third graders have been studying plants and their seeds in science over the last several weeks. Thanks to the Idaho Botanical Gardens they were able to look at and collect a variety of different seeds from many different plants, including a Venus Flytrap. Students also had a chance to take apart a lima bean and identify it's different parts.





    Sac Celebrates Mr. Webster's Birthday



    Staff and students lined the hallways on Thursday to wish their favorite principal a very happy birthday. After the students were done singing Mr. Webster walked through the crowds to give high fives and thank the students. You can view the video at this link:

    Math Night Fun




    Thank you to all the families who came out for Math Night. It was a great night of learning mixed with a whole lot of fun. Families learned math skills and games and then ended the evening with yummy pizza served by Caldwell High School seniors.
