Third Graders Visit the Botanical Gardens
Third graders have been studying plants and their seeds in science over the last several weeks. Thanks to the Idaho Botanical Gardens they were able to look at and collect a variety of different seeds from many different plants, including a Venus Flytrap. Students also had a chance to take apart a lima bean and identify it's different parts.

Safe Routes to School - Grant - Please Vote
Please spread the word to anyone you know. Vote today. Deadline is Friday.
The City of Caldwell is applying for a $250,000 grant to make it safer to walk to Sacajawea and Washington Elementary Schools. Our crosswalks are not well lit. Many of our streets don't have sidewalks, so our kids need to walk to and from school in the streets. We'd love for more of our kids to be able to walk safely to school.
Please check out the Caldwell video at the link below and vote for our project. Voting closes this Friday, September 30th.

***No, this won't make it any easier to walk or ride up Canyon Hill. That's just a good healthy workout. :)
